About DC Regulated Power Supplies
CIE Instruments supplies the complete Vartech DC regulated power supply range — from classic transformer-based linear supplies (3005 B, 3010, 3020, 6005, 6010) and dual/multi-output linear units (3005-3 D2, 3005-4, 3010-2, 6005-2) to slim SMPS models (3005 S, 3010 S, 6005 S, 3010 S-2), high-power SMPS with PC interface (SR series: 3020 SR through 20010 SR, up to 2000 W), programmable SMPS supplies (PPS-S series: 7 models, 30–100 V, with USB ModBus-RTU), and the auto-ranging PPSA-100W-8005 S.
Linear power supplies offer the lowest ripple and noise, making them ideal for sensitive analog, RF and precision measurement applications. SMPS-based models trade slightly higher ripple for dramatically reduced weight and heat — the slim S series units weigh just ~1 kg. The SR series adds USB/RS232/RS485 PC interface and ModBus-RTU protocol for automated test and ATE integration. The programmable PPS-S series adds list mode, 6 memories, a rotary dial and display of watts for complete bench automation. Available through CIE Instruments with pan-India supply.
