About This Instrument
The Vartech V 6500 is a high-precision, high-stability industrial digital thermometer covering -150 °C to +1300 °C (-238 °F to +2372 °F) using K-type thermocouple probes. The 2000-count 3½-digit display offers selectable 0.1 °C and 1 °C resolution. A Bead-type K probe (-50 °C to 250 °C) is included; a Rod-type probe (-50 °C to 750 °C) and a High-Temperature probe (-50 °C to 1300 °C) are available as optional accessories. Functions include Data Hold, Min/Max/Avg memory, Auto Power Off, low battery indicator and over-range / sensor open indication. The bead probe tip is 1.25 mm diameter, 97 cm long (excluding plug); the rod probe sensor is 3 mm diameter, 7.5 cm sensor length with 135 cm flexible total length (excluding plug).
